Is photopass really worth the money? How far in advance do you need to purchase for discount?

    Hi Becky,

If you plan on purchasing pictures taken by Disney's PhotoPass photographers, Disney's PhotoCD is a great deal. For the price of just a few pictures, you receive a cd with every image from your vacation to create memory books with, print, add Disney borders and characters to, and share with Grandma. Photographers are at character meet and greets, near classic park icons, and scattered throughout the water and theme parks. You may purchase Disney's PhotoCD at any point before your arrival for a discount.

Disney's PhotoPass+ is a more expensive option, but you receive additional benefits. Character dining photo packages from many restaurants are included as well as images from select attractions. If you want a print picture package from Chef Mickey's and a couple of happy shots of your family zooming down Space Mountain or around Test Track the extra dollars are worth the upgrade. You must order Disney's PhotoPass+ at least 14 days before your arrival for a discount.

To order either of these options click on Disney's PhotoPass Special Offers.
