With PhotoPass, I read somewhere that you can take your digital camera to a photo station at Disney World and have your pictures added to your photo pass. Is this true? If so, are there any disadvantages or restrictions involved? Thank you so much!

    Hi there Sherri,

I think you are asking about the PhotoPass Personal Archive CD.  Purchasing this CD for $19.99 will allow you to upload your own photos to the PhotoPass site, edit them and add borders, and then save them to a CD. When the CD arrives, you'll be able to print copies from home or from a local photo kiosk at your convenience.

You can certainly take your camera or memory stick to any Disney Parks photo processing station, but editing the photos from the kiosks can be a very tedious and time consuming process, since the machines are not touch-screen or self-serve...a Cast Member will have to flip through the photos one by one and manually apply the edit or add borders.

I would recommend waiting until you return home from your vacation which give you more time to enjoy the parks instead of having to spend a massive amount of time editing the photos on-site.

**Please note:  The Personal Archive CD will not include any Photopass photos taken in the Parks/Resorts...only the personal photos you've uploaded.  These photos will only remain on the site for 30 days following upload.
