Is Photopass and Memory Maker the same thing? Do you recomend me to purchase any of them? When I download the photos do they have watermarks or Disney logo? Do I need magic band or I can use the admission card?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Adriano! I'm happy to be able to answer another question for you today. I always think that that pictures are one of the best parts of any vacation. My friend and fellow Moms Panelist, Missy, gifted me with a memory book for my most recent vacation and I've loved compiling all the photos so much that we're going to make it a tradition in our family. Disney PhotoPass makes it so easy to collect all of those memories by taking pictures of you and your family at iconic locations around Walt Disney World Resort.

To answer your question in one short sentence: Disney PhotoPass is the service that takes the photos for you, and you purchase Memory Maker to get unlimited downloads of all of those photos. When a PhotoPass Photographer takes your picture, they will either scan your MagicBand or give you a PhotoPass card so the photo will appear on your My Disney Experience app. If you have purchased Memory Maker, you can browse the photos there and download as many as you want without any watermarks or logos. If you do not have Memory Maker you can still purchase and download photos individually. They will have watermarks when they appear within the app, but the final download is free of logos.

    Have a magical day, Adriano!
