Visiting the
Walt Disney Water Parks is one of my favorite things to do on a Disney vacation! We have the Water Park and Sports option added to our annual passes, so we love to visit as often as we can. I am so excited to visit
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon soon, now that it has reopened for the season!
Disney PhotoPass Service is such a wonderful benefit while on vacation at Walt Disney World! I love taking as many trip photos as I can at every theme park and water park since they are all included with the Disney PhotoPass Option that I added to my annual pass or with
Memory Maker, if you choose to purchase it for your trip. I especially love the Magic Shots like seeing Tinker Bell flying above you in front of Cinderella Castle or a Green Army Man parachuting down next to you in
Toy Story Land in
Disney's Hollywood Studios.
There have been PhotoPass photographers sprinkled around Typhoon Lagoon in the past, but I have found that it's hit or miss if they are out and where they are since they seem to be seasonal. The most common locations you will find them is right after you enter the park with the statue of Lagoona Gator, wading in Castaway Creek (the lazy river), the shallow end of the Surf Pool and sometimes they are at the bottom of select attractions like Miss Adventure Falls and Crush 'n' Gusher. Previously during busier times of the year, Lilo and/or Stitch have made an appearance by the High and Dry bar, just before you head over the bridge to the Surf Pool. I haven't seen any announcements yet if they will be returning, but I'm crossing my fingers because Stitch is my favorite character!
If you plan on attending
Typhoon Lagoon during Disney H2O Glow After Hours, PhotoPass photographers will definitely be out and about. You'll find rare characters to meet and greet with at this event, which is super fun! We met Stitch in his Elvis costume one year, which I had never seen before.
