Hi there, Roderick!
Your December sailing is almost here. What a "Joy" it is to anticipate a Disney cruise! You might have noticed already that your question has inspired me to add a few references to the movie
Inside Out.
When I asked our server at dinner this past weekend, he told me that the crew have been given specific instructions not to use Guests’ phones or cameras. I know that may make you feel like "Sadness", but that makes total sense when you think about it given the current environment we are in. Perhaps another member of your travel party could take the photo for you and then you can rely on the talented Disney Cruise Line photographers to capture your whole group for you!
Then it’s fun to go visit
Shutters Photography Shop and check out their handiwork. This onboard shop has both digital and printed photos available each day. With photographers stationed all over the ship for photo opportunities as well as ashore on Castaway Cay, it’s definite that you will have some you’d like to keep to preserve your core memories from the cruise.
While we are on the subject of photos, the
Disney Parks Blog came up with a list of
picture-perfect spots on the ships. I can also recommend the regal chair in front of the Cinderella mosaic near the Atrium Lobby; a porthole photo looking out at sea; and a photo at the funnel with the Disney Cruise Line logo lit up at night.
If you have any other questions about sailing with Disney Cruise Line, we'd love to hEAR from you again.
Happy Sailing!
Sherry
