I am a photographer and am travelling to WDW in a few months, a maternity client has asked if I can photograph them at one of the parks during my holiday. Would this be allowed, could I apply/pay for early access to the parks to do the session.

    Hello Abigail,

I'm so excited to hear about your plans to visit the magic of Walt Disney World Resort in the very near future!  During your stay, I feel sure you'll discover the most magical place on earth is also the most photogenic place on earth too!

How fun for you and one of your lovely clients to be visiting the Sunshine State of Florida at the very same time.  I know I've always looked forward to bumping into someone from back home during my own jolly holidays at Walt Disney World Resort.

Abigail, I'm able to share that at present the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules do indeed state that Guests are not permitted to undertake any unapproved commercial photography, videotaping, or recording sessions on Disney property.

I understand this may not be the news you were hoping to hear.  However, I might just have an alternative for your maternity client!

Capture Your Moment - Magic Kingdom is a highly personalised photo session with a photographer and takes place during scheduled Theme Park hours.  The initial 20-minute photo session can be increased to a further 20-minutes, and with this duo of time slots, Guests can opt for 2 iconic Magic Kingdom Park locations in which to have their photos taken with a photographer.

Plus, Guests wishing to book a Capture Your Moment photo session can do so at EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, or Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park!

Capture Your Moment photo sessions can be booked up to 60-days ahead of time by dialling the UK freephone number contained within this handy link.  Please know the photo captures are digital and are included at no extra cost within Memory Maker.  Any photo prints may be purchased separately.

Abigail, I hope I've been able to provide a little magical insight for you today.  Please don't hesitate to pop back to me here at planDisney if you should have any further questions about visiting Walt Disney World Resort.

Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
