Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Michael! We all know a picture is worth a thousand words, and you've probably taken about a thousand photos during your vacation! Creating a Photo Book is the ultimate family keepsake, and it will be a terrific way to treasure those magical moments from your Walt Disney World vacation.
I spoke with a Cast Member who works in
Disney's PhotoPass department, and you are absolutely correct. The format of the Photo Books has changed, as Disney has recently switched companies that they contract through. Now
EZ Prints handles all of Disney's Personalized Photo Gifts. Although you are limited to 45 photos, there is still an option to add Disney themed stickers and change backgrounds. Currently, there are only two options to choose from for Photo Book styles, but the process to make the album is relatively streamlined and straightforward. I was able to make one of my recent trip with my nieces in under 30 minutes, and the best part was that all my PhotoPass photos including the ones with
Magic Shots were already uploaded and organized by files. If you want a quick and easy approach, this is definitely the way to go; however, if you are looking for something with more variety, I'd try a photo site, such as Shutterfly. If you need any assistance, try contacting Disney's PhotoPass at (407) 560-4300 or
EZ Prints at (877) 651-4321.
Good luck and stay
focused, Michael!
