Hello Margaret! Thanks for visiting planDisney. It's lovely to have you here.
I'd be happy to point your compass in the direction of a
Photography Package aboard Disney Cruise Line. If you pre-book your photo package at least three days before you set sail, you can enjoy a discount, so it's a great idea to make your plans before your cruise begins.
From the Disney Cruise Line
website, hover your mouse over the Already Booked tab on the main menu. This is going to be on the top right side of the page. You'll then see the My Disney Cruise heading with several subheadings below. Select "Book/Manage Cruise Activities". If you aren't already signed into your account, you'll be prompted to sign in to manage your booking.
Once signed in, select"My Plans" and then select “Cruise Activities.” From there, click “Onboard Fun.” Once you’ve accessed “Onboard Fun,” select any day of your cruise and choose the photo package you'd like to add. If you'd rather use the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, a similar process can be followed to add your photo package within the app instead of on the Disney Cruise Line website.
When selecting your photography package, you only need to choose the name of one Guest in your stateroom to book. All guests in your stateroom can take photos throughout the cruise and will give the stateroom number for the photos to be associated with your account. You'll find a variety of settings, backdrops, and Disney Characters to take pictures with during your sailing. Once onboard, you can view the times and locations for photo opportunities within the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. If you'll be visiting
Disney Castaway Cay or
Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, you'll find photographers on the island ready and waiting to capture memories in these beautiful destinations.
Throughout your sailing, you can stop by Shutters Photography Shop to view and download your cruise pictures. Your photos will expire 45 days from the date they were taken, so please be sure to download all your purchased cruise photos before they expire. I find it most convenient to download photos to my phone while still on the ship, so I encourage you and your travel crew to do the same!
Have a picture-perfect cruise!
