Boo to you, Meredith, and welcome to
planDisney!
I hope you had a frightfully fun experience at
Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party! My daughter and I attended several weeks ago, and we had a blast!
I actually had the exact same problem as you, too, since my event wristband was scanned by the
Disney PhotoPass Service Cast Member, but I forgot to link it to my
Disneyland app before throwing away my wristband! I’m happy to report that your event photos aren’t lost forever, and should be able to be recovered. I called PhotoPass Guest Support at (714) 520-7106, and a Cast Member was able to locate my photos with a few key pieces of information. The Cast Member asked for the day of the event, the approximate timing, the location, and for basic information about our costumes. From there, he was able to search for our photos, and once he found one, was able to locate others from the night. He also verified my Disney account information, and was able to link the PhotoPass photos to my Disneyland app. They appeared in my Disneyland app while I was still on the phone with him! PhotoPass Guest Support is usually available Monday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
If you still happen to have your wristband, you can also try linking the QR code directly to your Disneyland app. On the app, tap on “Photos,” and then select “Link Photos” in the upper right corner. Tap on “Link Ticket or Pass” and you can enter the ID number found under the QR code on the wristband manually. If this doesn’t work, I recommend calling PhotoPass Guest Support, and a Cast Member will be happy to help you!
I can’t wait for you to check out your Oogie Boogie Bash photos, Meredith! I’m so thankful to have these photos to go along with my magical memories from the event. Enjoy the rest of the Halloween season!
Wishing you a grim, grinning good day,
Kristin
