Ahoy, Robin! I couldn’t think of a better question than how to best remember your Disney Cruise with a canvas print. I’m glad you sailed by planDisney so I can explore all aspects of this with you.
I’m not sure if you’ve already sailed, or if you’re asking for an upcoming cruise, so like Mary Poppins, I hope you’ll allow me to reach into my carpet bag and provide a couple of options. I
chatted with a Disney Cruise Line representative and they verified that if you have an individual photo you purchased from a recent sailing, you can print a canvas as large as the third-party printer will allow (they shared that their family even had an 8’ x 8’ canvas printed from a photo they took on their multi-generational family cruise that they love!).
Robin, if you have not yet sailed, you can order a canvas onboard through
Shutters as part of their Wall Collection. You can order your practically perfect photo in metal, acrylic, or canvas in sizes 11x11 to 24x24. It would then be shipped to the address you designate within 4 to 6 weeks after the sailing. (Unfortunately, chalk drawings and dancing penguins are not something that can be ordered at this time.)
If you are planning an upcoming cruise and you’re already imagining where you could hang your memories in your home, I recommend
purchasing the Unlimited Digital Package; you’ll save on the onboard price when you pre-book. I don’t know about you, but it’s tough as a mom to find your way into the family photos, so I rely on the skilled professional photographers on the ship to capture those magical moments with me in them.
While Mary Poppins makes it a point never to explain anything, I hope my answers have provided clarity and direction. The whole world is at your feet and the sea is your playground when on a Disney Cruise. Should you have any further questions, I hope you’ll dance your way back to us here at
planDisney.
In the most delightful way,
Sami
