Can i use a photo of my ID to verify residency with guest relations

Hi Kaylee! Welcome to planDisney, and a warm hello from a fellow Sunshine State neighbor!

Kaylee, in order to verify Florida residency at Guest Relations, you’ll want to bring the actual physical ID with you. In most cases, Cast Members will ask to see a valid Florida driver’s license or a Florida state-issued ID that shows a Florida address. A photo of your ID on your phone usually won’t work for that step since they need to check the real thing in person.

If your ID doesn’t show your current Florida address, you can sometimes pair it with another document that does. Things like a utility bill, bank statement, or insurance statement with your Florida address can help confirm residency when shown alongside your photo ID.

The good news is that Guest Relations makes this really easy. You can stop by any of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks or Disney Springs, and a Cast Member can take care of the verification pretty quickly, so you can get back to the fun.

As a Florida girl who spends a lot of time enjoying Walt Disney World Resort, I always love seeing fellow locals take advantage of those Florida resident perks, so make sure you browse those before your upcoming visits so you can take advantage of all those sweet deals that are exclusive to us!

Wishing you a sunny and pixie-dusted day,
