Hi, can we take photo frames on board a Disney cruise. Thanks.

Hey there Karryne and welcome to planDisney. Your voyage is so soon! Can you believe you will be sailing with Mickey and the rest of the Fab Five in about two months? I know when I travel it is always nice to bring a little bit of home with me and I cannot think of another item that says "home" more than personalized framed photos.

You are allowed to bring framed photos but I would suggest they be no larger than 12.7 x 17.8cm (5x7") because there is limited counter space in most staterooms. Disney Cruise Line even sells frames aboard. The sizes I know I have seen are 10cm x 15cm (5x6"). As an alternative to frames, consider magnetic photo sleeves. Almost all the walls inside the stateroom are magnetic and you will be able to decorate without losing valuable counterspace.

planDisney Pro Tip: Because the walls, doors, and ceilings in most staterooms are magnetic, we tend to bring magnetic hooks that allow us to hang jackets, towels, artwork, well, anything that we do not want in drawers or cabinets.

Karryne, I hope this information helps you plan your voyage of a lifetime. Please feel free to write me back directly with any follow-up questions.

    Enjoy making many Magical memories.
