I have a photo of my dad and Grumpy Dwarf from my first Disney trip in 1981 (I was 5). I'd like to take my own photo with Grumpy on my next trip. Does Grumpy show up in Disneyland at all?

    Hi there John,

That sounds like one fantabulous memory in the making!  I know Disneyland has changed a TON since your father's visit over three decades ago so it's gonna be really neat for you to experience all of the new additions while embracing the nostalgic classics as well!

Unfortunately, Grumpy the Dwarf is not available for character meet and greets in the Disneyland Parks at this time.  In fact, the only place I have ever seen him meeting with guests is during the special Christmas and Halloween parties at the Magic Kingdom in Orlando where he appears with the other 6 dwarves.

I did catch a glimpse of him passing by during the "A Christmas Fantasy Parade" last December at Disneyland, but that was it.

Perhaps you could opt for a photo with Snow White!?  I know it's not the same, but she is available for photos in Disneyland Park and maybe she could "stand in" until the day that Grumpy makes a reappearance in the Disney Parks!

Wish I had better news but please let me know if I can be of further assistance John!
