Welcome, Ananta, to planDisney, our friendly corner of the internet where we answer all of your
Disney planning questions.
Once you have arrived at the
Walt Disney World Resort and downloaded the My Disney Experience mobile app, you can set up the Disney MagicMobile Service. This will allow you to create a digital pass, and once set up, you will be able to use your Apple or Android phone to simply tap into the parks and redeem any
Lightning Lanes you may have purchased.
If your theme park tickets are not yet linked to your account, click the three horizontal lines (☰) in the bottom right-hand corner of the app, select the “My Tickets and Passes” tile, and then tap the plus sign (+) in the top right-hand corner of the screen. From there, select “Link Tickets & Passes,” choose the “Camera,” “Tap,” or “Type ID” option, and follow the prompts.
Once that is done, or if your tickets are already linked, you can select the “Save to Wallet” option on the “My Tickets and Passes” screen. Then, tap the plus sign (+) in the top right-hand corner and follow the prompts to set up your pass, as well as the passes for anyone in your group. You can also click the “Select Passes to Share” button and use iMessage to share them with other members of your group.
Once everything is set up, your phone becomes your ticket, your Lightning Lane pass redemption method, and if you are staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you can even use it to charge items to your room and unlock your hotel door. Currently, you also have the option to purchase a
Disney Band to link to your account to perform many of these functions, or you can request a Key to the World Card at a Guest Relations location outside the theme parks to use for park entry and Lightning Lane redemption. If you are comfortable using your phone, though, you are all set after setting up your MagicMobile Pass.
Disney just likes to give you options, and I like to make sure you know about them!
Ananta, enjoy your trip, and don't forget to check out the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, which is running now through June 1, 2026. If you have any other questions,
I would be happy to help!
The garden is looking lovely today,
Matt
