Hi Darlene, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for your question.
With four theme parks, two water parks, a world-class dining and shopping district at
Disney Springs, and all of the incredible Disney Resorts Collection hotels, you’re never far from a picture-perfect spot at
Walt Disney World. Thanks to Disney PhotoPass Service and the optional Memory Maker, you can let the talented Disney photographers handle the photo-taking so you can focus on being in the moment instead of behind the lens.
To make sure we’re on the same page, here’s a quick breakdown of the two.
Disney PhotoPass Service is the system that allows Cast Members stationed throughout the parks to capture your photos, whether you’re posing in front of Cinderella Castle or screaming your way through Space Mountain.
Memory Maker is an add-on that allows you to download, share, and keep all those PhotoPass images for one price. It’s a great way to ensure your entire travel party can be part of every photo, no selfie stick required.
If you’d like to add Memory Maker to your vacation, you can do so right on the
Memory Maker page of the Walt Disney World website. It can be purchased before, during, or even after your trip (though the pre-arrival price is the best deal).
If you’re experiencing a PhotoPass issue or need to talk with someone about your photos, the friendly Cast Members at Disney PhotoPass Guest Support can help. You’ll find their contact number and hours listed in the
Disney Help Center.
I hope this helps clear things up and gets your PhotoPass all set for your trip. Here’s to capturing countless smiles, laughs, and maybe even a few unexpected “Kodak moments” during your vacation.
See you real soon,
Brent
