Hi there, Sharlene! Welcome to planDisney!
It's almost time for your
ho-ho-holiday visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! My family was just in the Magic Kingdom Park this past weekend, and oh my Mickey waffles, was it a sight to behold. You're going to have a delightful time taking it all in, I promise!
I'm sorry you've been unable to get up and running with
Disney MagicMobile service, but don't let that put a lump of coal in your stocking! It's fun to use your phone as your ticket, but it's also totally optional. If you happen to have any
MagicBands hanging around from a previous vacation, you can bring them along and use them to enter the theme parks, charge purchases to your
Disney Resorts Collection room folio, and open your hotel room door. As long as they're linked to your
My Disney Experience account and marked "Active," they're good to go.
If you don't have MagicBands, you can pick up complimentary Admission Cards at the Guest Relations windows outside the park entrances, at the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs, or from the front desk of your Resort hotel.
Your tickets may already be linked to your account if you purchased them from the Walt Disney World website, but if not, you can link them following the prompts on the
Link Your Reservations and Purchases page. And when it comes time to
hop into a virtual queue for a particular attraction, you don't need NFC for that. As long as you have a good connection to WiFi or cellular service, you can fire up your My Disney Experience mobile app at 7 a.m. on the day of your reservation and try to snag that spot in the queue!
I hope this answered your questions, Sharlene. You absolutely have everything you need to have a magical time at Walt Disney World! If you need any more assistance, please don't hesitate to stop by and see us again. In the meantime, have a jolly Disney holiday!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
