Hiya James!
Welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet! I am so excited that you stopped by to send us this magical question, and I am honoured to be a part of your planning process. Plus, you have picked such a festive time to come and visit with the holiday season in full swing! There is no better way to ring in the holiday season than by visiting the Walt Disney World Resort.
I love the
Disney MagicMobile service as it helps make my vacations that much more convenient. I am sorry that you won't be able to use this service since your phone is not Google Pay-enabled, but thankfully there are other options! As you mentioned, you can stop by the ticketing window and pick up physical tickets to use throughout your trip. Otherwise, you can also purchase a
MagicBand when you get to the Walt Disney World Resort! MagicBands can usually be found at most merchandise locations in small quantities. Still, some stores, such as
Disney's Pin Traders at Disney Springs and the
Camera Center at EPCOT, have wider quantities. If you want to use MagicBands, I highly recommend downloading the
My Disney Experience mobile app, as it will make linking your new MagicBands much easier. However, if you are experiencing any issues with this step, don't hesitate to stop by any of the Guest Relations windows, as they will be able to help you!
Now, James, I thought I would share some of the unique things that you will be able to experience during your trip! One great way to go on all of your favourite rides without waiting too long is to buy tickets for
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! Indeed, these special ticketed events have a limited capacity, making the lines for attractions shorter. Plus, the party includes special fireworks, a parade, a castle show, festive merchandise and treats, as well as holiday overlays over some of your favourite attractions! The parties are such a great way to make your vacation unique and unforgettable, so I highly recommend that you purchase your ticket soon! Don't forget that these special ticketed events require different tickets from your regular theme park tickets.
I hope this was helpful, James, and that you and your Ohana will have the best day ever on your next Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your trip, please don't hesitate to reach out. You're as welcome as can be!
Have a happy, merry, holly, jolly, day!
Ariane
