Hello there, Debra!
Like the Evil Queen in Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, I have to admit I’m a bit jealous that you live in Florida and are much closer to the Walt Disney World Resort than me. Make sure to check out the
Florida Residents - Special Tickets, Passes, and Offers website for the latest details on the Disney Weekday Magic Tickets or Florida Resident Annual Passes.
Debra, to enter the Walt Disney World theme parks, you only need a valid theme park ticket, a
theme park reservation, and a mode of entry. The following mode of entry options can be used to scan into the theme park entrance:
MagicBand,
Disney MagicMobile Service on your My Disney Experience mobile app, or a physical ticket that you pick up from a ticket window.
My personal favorite mode of entry is the MagicBand, since it’s a hands-free way to enter the theme parks, unlock your Disney Resort hotel room, make purchases as a Disney Resort hotel Guest, and scan into Lightning Lane entrances. Rather than digging through my purse to find my phone, it is so simple to scan the wristband on my arm and hear that magical music.
If you want to set up the complimentary Disney MagicMobile Service on your mobile device, all you need to do is download the
My Disney Experience mobile app and log into your account. Once the app is open, select the three horizontal bars at the bottom right corner of the screen and select “Disney MagicMobile.” The screen will walk you through how you can set up the service on your device. It’s so convenient to scan your mobile device to enter the theme parks. Let us know if you need any other tips to make this trip the fairest one of all.
May the magic be with you!Melanie
