Hi Angela:

Congratulations on your upcoming trip, I would call the Resort at (407) 934-3400 about a week prior to check-in to make your request and note the reason. I would also note your request again when you check in. Room requests are not guaranteed, but if Disney is able to honor your request, they will work with you to do so. It may help if you are able to check in early and can wait until the right room opens up. Again, it's not a guarantee, but it hopefully will help.
