Are pets welcomed at the cabins in fort Wilderness

Howdy, Marisel! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'm happy to help as you make plans for your pets during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

You don't say if you're the proud pet-parent of a pup, kitty, or some other type of furry friend, but I can tell you that if your pet is of the canine variety, you're welcome to bring him along on your vacation! The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground are part of an ongoing pilot program to allow dogs in select Disney Resort hotel rooms, so your best buddy can stay right at your side. Pluto will even leave a welcome kit in the room for your puppy pal!

If you do bring your fur baby along, just note that only service animals are allowed in the Theme Parks and in common areas other than designated dog-friendly spaces.

Marisel, if you'd like to give your pooch a little extra pampering while you're in the Parks, you can arrange for him to spend a day at Best Friends Pet Care. Your pup will get some exercise and lots of love from trained pet care providers while you enjoy your day.

I hope this helps you plan a bark-tastic stay for the humans and canines in your family, Marisel! Please come see us again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
