Are pets allowed at my vacation club?

Hey there, Thomas! We here at planDisney are "aarf-fully" glad you dropped in with your question.

Thomas, I see that your Magical vacation is only days away, I hope you are packed!  Thomas, currently my family and I are the proud pet-parents to a rabbit and bearded dragon, so I understand the need to figure out how to care for your pet while on vacation.

At this time your best K-9 friend (or other type of pet) is not permitted at any of the Disney Vacation Club Resorts, but don't despair- check out the Best Friends Pet Care. Located right on Walt Disney World Resort property, this pet "resort" caters to dogs, cats and other small animals like lizards or hamsters.

Thomas, I hope this helps as you are preparing for your trip. From Minnie's cat, Figaro, to Rapunzel's lizard, Pascal to Mickey's best pal, Pluto and every animal in between, the love of animal sidekicks runs deep at Walt Disney World. However you choose to care for your animal on vacation, I wish you a pixie-dusted stay.

Please come on back and see us here at planDisney with any other questions you might have. We are all EARS.

Greetings from central Pennsylvania! Hi, I’m Lauren and I can’t wait to answer all of your Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Vacation Club questions. My husband and I became Disney Vacation Club Members because we love visiting the Disney Parks and with hectic day-to-day schedules, wanted to prioritize time away for our family. The options at the Walt Disney World Resort make each trip unique and I am excited to help other families build vacations with those unforgettable moments.
