Well hello there, Olga. Welcome to planDisney, your one-stop shop for all
Disney vacation planning questions!
I'm so excited that you (and your pet) will be staying at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort. As an animal lover, I know how important it can be to ensure that your beloved animal friend is taken care of while you're on vacation. It's great that certain rooms at certain resorts can accommodate our dog friends so you don't have to leave them behind to experience the magic.
Typically, only Guests registered at your
Walt Disney World Resort are granted access to the parking lot at
Disney Resorts Collection Hotels, especially if you will not be at the resort to greet them. If you can add your Guest to your hotel reservation, that would make it clear that you permit them to access your room and allow them to park at the resort. However, I understand this may not be possible if you have a vacation package and/or you are already at capacity for your room. You can always
inquire with a friendly Cast Member at the resort if you think this may be a possibility.
Did you know that there is a
Best Friends Pet Hotel at the resort? While I don't have a pet right now, I have often wanted to bring a pet here as it is a great place to ensure your pet is in the best hands. And sometimes, I'll look at the "Extras" on the information page on the website and as a human, get a little jealous! For cats, it seems like you can add "Tuna on a Ritz." I don't even like tuna and I want that for me...I mean, my cat...that I don't yet own. A "Holiday Meal" for dogs? Yes, please. A grooming salon? These pets have it
made! Okay, I'm getting distracted!
Olga, I wish you the best vacation ever. If you have any other questions,
feel free to ask.
Everybody wants to be a cat,
Matt
