Are there any pet friendly resorts on property?

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amy! As someone with two furry friends at home, I definitely understand wanting to bring them with you to the Most Magical Place On Earth. I know my dog, Poppy, would look really cute in a pair of personalized Mickey Mouse ears! Thankfully for animal lovers like us, there are some dog-friendly accommodations at select Resort Hotels and I'm happy to to tell you all about them.

There are currently four Resort Hotels that have dog-friendly accommodation are Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, Disney's Yacht Club Resort, and The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. If you're bringing a dog along with you, you'll be given a room that has easy access to outdoor areas for exercise and walks as well as Pluto's Welcome Kit, which includes some of the essentials you'll need during your stay! Dogs are currently the only pets that are allowed and they will be expected to be well-behaved and up to date on their vaccinations, so be sure to have a copy of that information ready when you make your booking.

If you have a cat or another small animal that you want to bring on vacation with you then they are welcome to stay at Best Friends Pet Care, which is conveniently located on Walt Disney World Resort property. They offer overnight boarding in private suites and condos as well as doggie daycare if your pup wants to get out of your Resort Hotel room for the day for some playtime or a trip to the groomer!

    Have a magical day, Amy!

In fact, we even opted-out of a tropical honeymoon to spend a blissful week at Walt Disney World instead! I'm thrilled to be on the Disney Parks Moms Panel and I'm excited to share everything I've learned from all of our trips and help you plan a memorable family vacation.  Learn More About Jessica
