Hello, Taylor! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so excited you found us!
As a big
Disney Parks fan, I hold a bunch of random Disney knowledge in my head. But until today, I didn't know that
approximately 250 rooms out of the approximately 28,000 rooms across all of the
Disney Resorts Collection Hotels are dog-friendly. So, thank you so much for helping me expand my Disney knowledge!
Certain floors or sections at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort,
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside,
Disney's Yacht Club Resort,
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, and
The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort are designated as
dog-friendly. While these rooms are thoroughly cleaned between stays, you'll want to
place a request with a friendly Cast Member once your reservation is booked to ask that your room not be in one of these areas. Even with a deep clean, there isn't a guarantee that no allergens will be present. However, the safest bet would be to book a hotel that
isn't dog-friendly, as Cast Members cannot guarantee room requests, although they will try their best to accommodate.
There are so many wonderful options when it comes to choosing a hotel at the
Walt Disney World Resort. If you like the idea of staying at a
Value Resort with access to the
Disney Skyliner,
Disney's Pop Century Resort is right across Hourglass Lake from Art of Animation. If you want to take a gander at all of the photo opportunities at Art of Animation, all you have to do is walk across the bridge connecting the two resorts, and you'll be there! Just note that you won't be able to swim in the pools or use the amenities of
that resort.
Taylor, best wishes for an amazing vacation. If you have any other questions,
I'd be happy to answer them!
Just keep swimming,
Matt
