chEARs Rebecca, welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Disneyland Resort is truly the Happiest Place on EARth, but you must remember that a Mouse runs it! As such, the Big Boss is NOT a fan of cats (unless they’re the cats from
Lady and the Tramp!). We have a beloved family member who masquerades as a dog, so I completely understand how you want to bring your pet with you, but unfortunately, the mouse says nope!
But,
service animals are welcome on the property. They are defined as “a dog or miniature horse that is trained to do work or perform tasks for, and to assist, an individual with a disability.” They must remain on leash and under the control of their owners at all times.
Currently, cats are not covered under the service animal umbrella and therefore not permitted in the Parks or
Resort hotels. A purr-fect option might be
Disneyland Resort Kennel Club, which is a daytime pet boarding facility. Your
feline will be welcomed at
the kennel with open paws, but feel free to bring personal blankets, treats, and toys. You must pick up your furry friend by day’s end, as there is not overnight boarding available. Since you are planning on staying at one of the
Disneyland Resort Hotels, I would suggest a quick google sEARch of nearby overnight kennels, as that would probably be a bit more convenient.
Rebecca, if you have any more questions, please don’t hesitate to come back. Meow you real soon!
