After perusing many of the WDW menus, it seems my 14 year old daughter and myself would rather choose from the kid's menu. We are both vegetarians, not adventurous eaters, and I am trying to eat smaller portions. Is this a possibility for us? Thanks!!

    Hello, Erin,

You and your daughter are welcome to order from the children's menu.  When we visited with my parents a few years ago, my mom did just that as she has a light appetite. I also think you'll be very happy dining at Walt Disney World as a vegetarian as the restaurants offer many delicious choices. At any table service restaurants you are dining at, you can include a notation in your reservation that you are a vegetarian to alert the wait staff.  Sometimes, the chef will offer to make you something that isn't on the menu.

In addition to looking at the menus, you may want to visit www.disneyfoodblog.com and do a search for vegetarian and/or vegan to look at different articles that will provide you with lots of additional information, photos and suggestions.

    Happy dining!
