Personalizing magic bands for surprise trip end March. Tween & teenage boys first WDW trip. Tying to decide between names or initials. Gotta get it right:) Where does the personalization go? Could you possibly upload a picture? Thank you!

Hello!  Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  A surprise trip to Walt Disney World sounds fantastic.  I have surprised my children a few times, and the reaction I received after telling them was priceless.   Make sure you have a video camera handy, it will be a memory you will want to cherish for a very long time.

What I love about the Magic Band is that you can personalize it with whatever name you choose.  On our last trip, my daughter was Ariel, and my sons were Buzz and Woody.   So you can choose to personalize them however you would like.   Unfortunately I can not upload a picture, but the name will be located on the inside of the  Magic Band in the center section, almost directly behind the Mickey head silhouette on the front of the band.   If you go to the provided link above you will see a picture of a Magic Band and a short video telling you about some of it's features.   A word of warning, these are so cool you may just find yourself wearing them even after you get home.  (Sorry they won't open your front door, believe me I have tried.)

Enjoy your magical vacation!  I hope your surprise for the boys is epic!
