This is a very personal question...but here goes. Because of several surgeries, I have several scars on many areas of me. I was wondering if I would be allowed to wear swim trunks and a swim t-shirt in the water park and on the rides? Thank you

    Hi there Lisa!

While it is a personal question, I feel that you are perfectly fine to wear your bathing suit as you would see fit. From my own personal experience, Disney does not discriminate. I have seen people wearing all kinds of bathing suits at the water parks. They do have a bathing suit policy but it basically just states that bathing suits cannot be revealing and can't have rivets, buckles or exposed metal. The metal pieces are not permitted on the slides. Unless, there is an instance where you may have open wounds in a pool, I do not see the lifeguards having a reason to not allow you to swim just like any of the other waterpark guests.

Thank you so much for asking the Moms Panel! If you have additional questions, we are always here to help!
