Is there a way to have personal items such as shampoo, snacks, etc. delivered to our room at the Port Orleans Riverside before we arrive?

    Salut Sylvie!

Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for sending us this magical question! I always get so excited when I see fellow québécois Guests in our queue, so I am thrilled that I get to answer your question today. Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is also such a beautiful Resort hotel to stay in - you're going to have a blast! Make sure to get some of those Mickey beignets, though. They are a must-do, in my opinion!

Grocery orders can be delivered to your Resort hotel during your vacation, starting on your check-in day. These grocery orders are typically held by Bell Services or Luggage Assistance, and a fee of $6 USD (prices subject to change) will be charged to your room for each grocery delivery brought to your room. However, you may pick up your deliveries at your Disney Resort hotel lobby or Bell Services for no fee. If you plan to use alternative deliveries through a third-party or service vendor, please note that these deliveries are subject to the Disney Resort hotel's policies and may be unavailable, restricted or limited. Also, make sure that with all deliveries, your name, arrival date and the word "Guest" are displayed on the delivery slip so that Bell Services or your Resort hotel's lobby may identify it. If the delivery vendor requires a piece of ID or signature, ensure that you will be there to pick it up yourself, as Disney Resort hotels will not accept deliveries on behalf of any Guest. These rules are applicable at all Disney Resort hotels, but feel free to stop by your Resort hotel's lobby to ask about their specific process!

Now, Sylvie, have you heard the news? Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party are finally returning to the Walt Disney World Resort, and I could not be more excited! While I do not know when your magical vacation will take place, I highly recommend that you plan it during one of those events as they make your Disney vacation so unique. Plus, not only do you get to view special parades, fireworks and castle shows, but you also get to ride some of the most popular attractions at the Magic Kingdom Park with shorter lines! These events are special-ticketed events, so they do require that you purchase special events tickets separate from your theme park tickets. You can buy these tickets online or on the My Disney Experience mobile app, and I suggest you do not wait too long as more popular nights can sell out!

I hope this was helpful, Sylvie, and that you and your Ohana will have the best day ever on your next Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your visit, please don't hesitate to reach out. Il me fera toujours plaisir de vous aider!

    Have a magical day,
