Personal car or buses? Our family of 11 (6 adults, 3 teens, 2 kids) are staying at Saratoga Springs during the very busy Easter break. Considering the crowd volume and the resort location; should we drive or take buses to main parks?

    Hi Wanda!

You are going during a very busy time, but Disney generally does a great job adding buses as required to accommodate guests; the only problems should be during park openings and closings.  Of course, that's unfortunately when most guests want a bus!

My recommendation is to drive yourself.  That's what I do, because it is generally faster.  The only exception is possibly the Magic Kingdom, because you can't drive right to the front gate; instead you have to park, take a tram to the Transportation and Ticket Center, and then take a monorail or ferry to the Magic Kingdom.  Since you are staying on property, parking at the theme parks will be free.  Having you own car also makes visiting the other resort hotels much easier.  I suggest taking advantage of that.

    Have a magical vacation!
