    Are 6 person portable shade trends allowed on Castaway cay beaches? I understand we'd have to set up further back from the water.

    Ahoy there Lora, and welcome to planDisney!  I'm excited that you have a nice-sized pirate crew joining you aboard Disney Cruise Line.  Spending time together on Disney's Castaway Cay will definitely help you keep the fun going. 

    Unfortunately, you will not be able to bring a 6-person portable shade trend onboard the ship with you.  If you want to ensure that you will have seating together while on Disney's Castaway Cay, I suggest you disembark from the ship once you have received the ok to leave from the Captain.   Then you can find a great (hopefully shaded) spot on either the Castaway Family Beach or the adult-exclusive Serenity Bay.

    While on Disney's Castaway Cay, the Castaway Cay Getaway Package may be a great deal for you and your pirate crew.  You can enjoy a discounted rate on this rental package that includes snorkel equipment for the day, a float or inner tube rental for the day, and a bicycle rental for one hour.  There are some hidden treasures found under the sea in Snorkeling Lagoon.  You must book online or onboard prior to arrival at Castaway Cay for the discounted rate.
