Can a person with peanut allergy eat at Ohana.

    Hi Kimberly,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

My husband has a severe shellfish allergy and we’ve eaten at ‘Ohana several times, in spite of the fact that peel and eat shrimp are on the menu. The chefs have always been outstanding at coming to discuss my husband’s allergies prior to our meal! While the peanut sauce will definitely be a no-go for someone with allergies, from what I understand, there is a special “allergy” food preparation area and grill, which is specifically designed to accommodate people with allergies to peanuts and shellfish.

I would definitely note the allergy when you make your dining reservation (either online or on the phone) and mention it to the Cast Member at the podium when you check in for your meal. Of course, if you have any specific questions about how this allergy will be accommodated during your meal, please don’t hesitate to contact the Special Dietary Requests team.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
