    Will each person in my party require their own MDE account to access and manage the features of the new Magic Band+ ? Or can this be done by one person (if no MDE is active for the others) ?

    Hello and welcome to planDisney, Amy, thank you for your excellent question about the MagicBand+ isn't this all so very exciting?

    Amy, it sounds as if you have a great grasp of how things work with My Disney Experience planning, and that you have all your Family & Friends associated or linked to your Disney planning! You have just completed a big step and you will be happy to hear that you can manage everyone's plans using your My Disney Experience Mobile App during your visit as you and everyone enjoys their MagicBand+ device.

    Link your MagicBand+ devices one at a time by accessing MagicBands and Cards in your Disney account and then you will be able to assign each MagicBand+ to each Guest in your Family & Friends list and pair the MagicBand+ to your My Disney Experience Mobile App. Amy, be sure to link any Walt Disney World Resort reservations and purchases to your Disney account, and remember to update your My Disney Experience Mobile App and enable locations and notifications.  

    Since we're both from Canada, and we're considered international Guests, although we are able to pre-purchase a MagicBand+ with a valid Disney Resorts Collection Hotel reservation, we have to wait until our arrival at the Front Desk to pick up our MagicBand+. Amy, you are welcome to purchase your MagicBand+ during your visit to Walt Disney World Resort at these current MagicBand+ locations from the Disney Parks Blog where you will still be able to link it and everyone else's to your My Disney Experience Mobile App or a Cast Member will be able to assist you. 

    Tips:
    Don't forget to secure your Disney Park Pass - Theme Park Reservations for each day of everyone's valid theme park admission.

    Please update your Payment Method in your Disney account to enable any vacation essential app transactions that will add great convenience to your theme parks touring, such as saving time by enjoying the convenience of ordering your food ahead of time with Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering and then saving time in lines for attractions that offer the Lightning Lane entrance with the Disney Genie+ service and much more!

    If you haven't booked your accommodations yet, keep a close watch over the periodic Walt Disney World Resort special offers, deals & discounts located under the Places to Stay tab on the main page of your Disney account - update your contact information in your Disney account to receive any updates, news and applicable special offers!
