If a person in the military gets a discount on a room and purchase tickets at the military base are they able to get the dining plan?

    Hi Tammy!

Welcome BACK to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We love it when our longtime friends come back to talk all things Disney. You're not only planning your perfect Disney vacation, but you're helping future guests who find these questions and answers as well. So thank YOU for your continued support of our panel throughout the yEARs!

Mine is also a Military family. We've been visiting Walt Disney World Resort annually since 2011 using the wonderful U.S. Military Promotional Multi-day Disney Theme Park Tickets that I usually pick up from the Travel and Ticket Office on our base. I'm happy to report that once you have your Military tickets linked in your My Disney Experience Profile and the Military rate of your Disney Resort Hotel room(s) booked, you are indeed allowed to purchase a Disney Dining Plan. You're actually able to set this up ASAP, or you can add it to your vacation reservation all the way up until a few days before you check-in. To add a dining plan, please call the helpful Cast Members at the Disney Resort Hotel Reservation Line at (407) 939-1936.

Pro Tip: The Disney Dining Plans include one Rapid Refill Mug per person in your reservation. These mugs can be used to get both hot and cold beverages at not only your Disney Resort Hotel's Quick-Service dining option, but at all Quick-Service dining locations across all of Disney's Resort Hotels. So should you have some time to 'resort hop' don't forget to bring your refill mug!

I hope this helped, Tammy, and We'll See You Real Soon!
