Hiya, Karen!
I’m so glad to welcome you to planDisney! Thanks for reaching out to us here. I'm excited to help you out with your question about making sure your cast of characters has the most magical time possible at the Disneyland Resort. You should know that at The Happiest Place On Earth,
everyone is welcome.
Now, if your Mouseketeer has trouble waiting in line, the special service called the
Disability Access Service (DAS) can surely help. It's a free service that allows guests to schedule return times for attractions, rather than waiting in line. And the best part? You can pre-register for DAS between 2 to 30 days before your trip. Since you’ll be visiting in June, I'd recommend
requesting a live video chat with a Cast Member in a few weeks to get started. The Cast Member will take a photo of your guest, ask a few questions and sprinkle some extra pixie dust to ensure your group has everything they need for a magical adventure.
If you prefer, you can also reach out to Disability Services at (407) 560-2547 or email them at
disability.services@disneyland.com.
Karen, have you downloaded the
Disneyland Mobile App yet? You'll need it to scan your tickets when you arrive and it's also where your DAS Advance will be linked. This is where you can select return times throughout the day, and even order food to pick up while you're enjoying the parks. Personally, I love placing mobile orders for meals, snacks, and beverages so that I’m always one jump ahead of the crowds when I’m ready to eat!
I hope this information was helpful, Karen! Don't hesitate to
reach out again if you have any further questions. I'm always here to lend a helping hand. See ya real soon!
Your pal,
Danielle
