Hi Michelle,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a great question. I’m happy to do my part to clear up any Disney debates that may be raging between you and your family & friends!
We actually had a similar debate recently between several of my other friends at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, so I’ve got your “official” scoop! If a Guest wants to visit two Theme Parks in the same day, they absolutely must purchase a
Theme Park Ticket with the
Park Hopper Option added to it. They can’t use two separate days of Theme Park admission on a multi-day ticket or even two “
1 Park per Day Tickets” associated with the same
My Disney Experience account to enter two Theme Parks on the same day. Plus, it’s important to note that adding the Park Hopper Option to a single day ticket is still cheaper than buying a whole other “1 Park per Day” Theme Park Ticket.
So, to use your example, if the person bought their Theme Park Ticket at
Magic Kingdom Park and wanted to visit
Disney’s Hollywood Studios later that evening, they’d need to add to Park Hopper Option in order to do so.
I hope my answer helps clear up any confusion about how to use and maximize the value of your Theme Park Tickets. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
