Aimee from CA Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Hi, the person in our group who is managing our fast passes, etc, might be unable to come to the park with us one day due to health reasons. We will be linked in app. Is it possible to transfer 'control' of the app to me for that one day?

Hi Aimee! I think I might have helped you with your previous question and hope I can assist you with this one. It is smart to get all your questions answered now so once you arrive you are just going to relax and enjoy this great vacation.

When traveling with a large group or a family it is good to link together so one person can make the plans that include everyone. If each individual tried to get the same times for dining and FastPasses  it would be extremely difficult. Disney has tried making family vacations as painless as possible with the use of the My Disney Experience accounts.

It sounds like someone in your group has been selected to make the group plans. When you are all linked they can include all or some of you. When we travel as a large family I usually make the plans but it does not mean everyone has to do the same thing. In regards to that person not being able to go to the parks with you it won't matter. Each individual is in control of their own plans and you can change them at any time. If one of you would like to change something you can do that as well as for anyone else in your linked group. You will need to log into your My Disney Experience account.

The person you have in "control" is merely the person who has made the initial plans but each of you can make changes as you wish on any day of your vacation. So you won't have to transfer anything but just head to the parks and have some fun. We have found that often the best thought out plans months ahead does not fit our needs the day of a park visit and we are using our mobile MDE app to make changes while in the parks.

Plan ahead but don't stress over the need to make changes. Disney offers so many fun things to see and do and we all want to try to do it all if we can!
