Does each person in our group (2 adults, 2 teens) require a Disney experience account to link magic bands with their respective park tickets? Then I assume I would invite them as friends to complete fast pass and other planning for the group.

Hi, Elizabeth! Setting up your own My Disney Experience is one of my top "do first" tips I recommend for guests traveling to Walt Disney World Resort. This online resource is basically a home for all of your vacation plans. It is a magical place that holds information about your Resort hotel stay, dining reservations, Disney Theme Park Tickets, and even FastPass+ selections. Since your account can be accessed through the My Disney Experience mobile app, finding and modifying your vacation plans on-the-go is easier than spelling supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

If each member of your party would like to freely access any of the vacation plans, especially those FastPass+ selections, then I do recommend each of you set up your own My Disney Experience account. Once everyone is set up and linked to each other within their own Family & Friends List, you will be able to make and modify plans for each other. Just make sure that you all check the box within each person's profile that allows for the sharing of plans.

Another thing that you will want to do is to match each person in your Family & Friends List with the guests on the room reservation. This will help make sure everything, like your tickets and MagicBands, gets correctly sorted. After everyone has set up their accounts and you are all linked, go into the room reservation within My Plans, where you will be able to assign a linked family member from your list to each guest's name on the reservation.

If you would like personalized assistance in setting any of this up, feel free to call a My Disney Experience Cast Member at any time. Thanks for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions!
