Is it permitted to eat or drink on the resort to park transportation? Everyone recommends getting to the park as early as possible- I'm wondering if it's okay to eat your breakfast in transit. (Planning on all types of transit : boat, bus & monorail)

Hi Ann! I can certainly understand your wish to save time when traveling from place to place at Walt Disney World. Getting the little ones up early enough to be at a park rope drop can become a miracle if it happens.

They ask that all food and drink be stored when using the transportation. That doesn't mean you won't see someone taking a fist of popcorn or a long drink of water. It isn't enforced much of the time and it is just common courtesy that guests don't eat. Part of this reason is that you will find the busses and boats and monorails quite crowded and busy especially during the early morning hours. To have room just to sit will often be a gift much less room to get any food out to distribute and eat.  I suggest you either have a quick breakfast before you go or stow some small things in a backpack and find a quiet nook in the park before you head out for your tour of attractions.
