Are we permitted to call Yacht Club to make specific room requests? I did the early check in but the only requests I was able to make were upper floors or water view. Travelling with someone who has special needs who requires different room requests.

    Hi Lisa!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Yes, you are permitted to call Disney's Yacht Club Resort with specific room requests.  I do this myself prior to every visit, with reasonable success.  Please know that room requests are limited to availability and are never guaranteed, but it is always worth asking!  I would call 7-10 days before your arrival date, no earlier.  The number to call is (407) 934-7000.  Also, even though you have checked-in online, I would stop by the Front Desk when you arrive to discuss the location of your room and request a different one if yours isn't completely suitable.

Disney's Yacht Club Resort is in such a great location - being a short walk from the International Gateway entrance to Epcot, and Disney's BoardWalk with all the dining and entertainment offered there.  You can also take a walk or a FriendShip Boat to Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World, and keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest official news and any updates on events that may be happening during your stay.
