Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Patricia ~
We are so glad to have you hEAR! I have a son with special needs and I have to take food into the theme parks with us every trip.
You are welcome to take food and water bottles into the theme parks. Here are some things to remember when bringing food and drinks inside the parks:
* Glass containers (unless they are baby food jars) are not permitted.
* All bags are subject to inspection before entering the theme parks.
* Coolers are permitted as long as they are no larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high.
* Cast Members are prohibited from storing, preparing, cooking, or reheating any food brought into the resort hotels or theme parks by Guests.
If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can store any items that need to be refrigerated in the small refrigerator in your room.
Many of the table service restaurants at Disney World offer allergy-friendly menus and can accommodate a lot of different food intolerances. Be sure to note your
special dietary requests when making advanced dining reservations and again when you arrive at your dining location.
Some of the quick service dining locations are also able to accommodate certain food allergies or intolerances. You should ask to speak with a Cast Member to assist you before ordering.
Bringing in your own food and drinks can also be a money saver and that is a bonus as well.
Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions. We are excited to assist you!
Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
