Ahoy there, Diane!
Thanks for taking the time to sail by planDisney with your question for us. I’m more than happy to clarify Disney Cruise Line’s
alcohol policy. On Embarkation Day, each Guest age 21 or older may bring 2 unopened bottles of wine or champagne (no larger than 750 mL) or 6 beers (no larger than 12 ounces) on board. Be sure these items are in your carry-on bags and not your checked luggage. The alcohol must be in an original, unopened container. Any alcohol stored in your checked luggage will be subject to removal.
During each
port of call, Guests age 21 or older may also bring the same amount of alcohol [2 unopened bottles of wine or champagne (no larger than 750 mL) or 6 beers (no larger than 12 ounces)] on board as well. If you happen to purchase liquors or spirits, or excess wine and beer in ports of call,
Hakuna Matata! It means “no worries”, Diane. You’ll still be able to bring your alcohol home with you, but these items will be collected when you reboard the ship and stored for you until the end of your cruise. Just remember to retrieve your stored alcohol at the end of the cruise.
The alcohol that you bring onboard can be enjoyed in the comforts of your stateroom or at dinner in one of the main dining rooms (please note: a corkage fee will apply).
Disney Cruise Line also offers convenient beer and wine packages through the
Onboard Gifts page.
I hope this information is helpful for you, Diane. Please feel free to stop by
planDisney again if you have more questions for us.
Hope to SEA ya real soon,
Kiki
