I have to tell you, your question gave me a good laugh. When you wrote "gone to never be seen by the eye again," I pictured the gravestones outside of the
Haunted Mansion. (Maybe it's the proximity to Halloween, I don't know!) Let's see if we can help you quiet the sympathetic vibrations from your inactive MagicBands once and for all.
As you note, you may manage your
MagicBands and Cards in "My Profile" in the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Tap "Magic Bands & Cards" to view your MagicBands and then tap "Your MagicBands & Cards" to see the full list of active and inactive MagicBands linked to your account. Just as there are 999 grim, grinning ghosts in the Haunted Mansion, there's always room for one more - I have dozens of MagicBands linked here! To deactivate a band, tap it and then tap "Deactivate." However, you can still see those bands listed in your account.
To fully delete a MagicBand, you will need to speak with a Cast Member at the My Disney Experience help desk. They can be reached by
calling (407) 939-4357. The Cast Member you speak with can help you organize your MagicBands and remove them from your sight.
