Hiya pal, and welcome to planDisney! Let me begin by offering my thanks for your service. I'd be happy to help you determine your eligibility for military discounted tickets at Walt Disney World. I see that you have mentioned both Salute and Green, so I will guide you through both the
Military Salute tickets and ticket discounts offered by
Shades of Green.
The Disney Celebrates America Military Salute ticket defines eligible service members as active or retired members of the US Military, including the National Guard, Reservists, the US Coast Guard, the US Space Force, the Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service (PHS), and the Commissioned Corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Spouses of Eligible Military Service Members also qualify if they can present valid and active US Military IDs. A valid military ID must be shown to both purchase and use tickets. You can purchase up to 6 of these tickets, one of which must be used by you or an eligible spouse. The remaining tickets must be used by the same individuals on any and all days. These tickets are valid for repeat visits through December 18, 2026 with an advance park reservation, and blockout dates are March 29-April 11 and November 22-28, 2026. In addition to this ticket that allows you to visit again and again, there is the Disney Military Salute ticket which is available as a 4, 5, or 6 day ticket. This ticket type has the same blockout and expiration dates.
In addition to these tickets, Shades of Green offers tickets that do not require a service member or spouse to use one for themselves, do not require advance park reservations, and do not have blockout dates. The definition of an eligible service member is the same as the tickets above with the addition of veterans under the Purple Heart and Disabled Veteran Equal Access Act of 2018 and DoD civilians (active and retired). Prices for these tickets fluctuate depending on the date you choose to visit, and Shades of Green will not provide pricing over the phone. Just know that there will be savings over the advertised pricing on the
Disney World Ticket Calendar, and Shades of Green tickets are offered tax free.
