Is my permanent resident card valid as a proof of ID when buying acohol at any location?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Eugenia!

Between you and me, there are so many attractions and amazing shows at Walt Disney World Resort but what I enjoy most is relaxing in a gorgeous lounge space with a signature cocktail and some delicious small plates. I just made FastPass+ selections for a trip I have coming up this fall, and I made sure to leave some time between DINOSAUR and Avatar Flight of Passage at Disney's Animal Kingdom because I can't walk past Nomad Lounge without wanting to step inside for a Sinaloa Sangria!

Guests over the age of 21 are welcome to enjoy alcoholic beverages at Walt Disney World Resort but must present a valid form of government photo identification as proof of age. Since your Permanent Resident Green Card is a United States government-issued identification with your photo and your date of birth, it is an acceptable form of ID and you can use it to purchase alcohol. I also have a Green Card and have had no problem presenting it as identification myself. If you have another form of photo identification to bring with you, like a domestic driver's license or even a photocopy of your passport, I recommend bringing that as well just in case you need a backup form of ID.

    Have a magical day, Eugenia!

I'm a personal stylist and I live in Texas with my husband and our two rescue animals. We are Disney-obsessed and love enjoying all the magic that's out there especially for grown-ups. In fact, we even opted-out of a tropical honeymoon to spend a blissful week at Walt Disney World instead! I'm thrilled to be on the Disney Parks Moms Panel and I'm excited to share everything I've learned from all of our trips and help you plan a memorable family vacation.  Learn More About Jessica
