Molly from TX Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Do you still get the same perks if you stay on site at a non Disney resort hotel (like the hotels across from Disney springs)?

Hi Molly! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for sending us your planning question.

Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels do offer limited benefits like Extra Magic Hours and the ability to make your FastPass+ selections 60-days before your vacation. They’re also pretty conveniently located right next to Disney Springs. So you have all those shops, restaurants and activities just a few steps away!

When it comes to getting the most benefits from your hotel, you will find that Disney Resort hotels will offer the most benefits to you and your family during your vacation. Some of these benefits include complimentary MagicBands, standard parking at the theme parks, 60-day FastPass+ access, rides on Disney’s Magical Express and Extra Magic hours.

I suggest keeping an eye out for Special Offers. Mickey and his friends offer different promotions during every season of the year. You may find that these offers might coincide with the dates of your next visit!

Molly, I hope I’ve been helpful. If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to come back to see us!
