Ahoy Kelli –
We are so glad to see you back at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I can tell that you are really working hard to plan your big vacation with Disney Cruise Line, and thanks for coming to us with your questions. I am a
Disney Visa Card member as well, and I tell you that every cruise I try to use it to get discounts onboard at the shops, and every time I am told no. Currently, card members do not get a shopping discount on Disney Cruise Line when they use their Disney Visa. If you are earning points for your
Disney Dream Reward Dollars then it is worth using the Visa for that, but I just go ahead and use my Key to the World Card when I am onboard. Also, Disney Cruise Line does not have any special card member Meet and Greets. For my family, we find that meeting the characters on Disney Cruise Line is a much faster experience than it is at Disney World, so the special Meet and Greet reward is not necessary for us. The only perk listed online for
Disney Visa Rewards was a $50 onboard credit if your Disney Cruise is booked and paid off with your Disney Visa Card. My crew has also converted our Disney Dream Reward Dollars into
Disney Gift Cards that we brought onboard for spending. Kelli, we hope your vacation planning goes well and thank you for visiting with us here.
