Welcome, Leslie! I'm so excited to have you here at planDisney! Let's chat about the
Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotels. They are a fantastic way to stay close to the magic and save some money, all while enjoying AAA-approved hotels that meet Disney's high standards for quality and service.
I've stayed at a few of these hotels, so I'd be happy to tell you about their benefits and perks. But before we get started, it's important to note that benefits can vary from hotel to hotel, and offers are subject to change without notice. So, it's always a good idea to reach out to your desired hotel before your trip to confirm any information or benefits you're interested in.
In my opinion, the two major benefits of these hotels are the
Early Theme Park Entry for Disney Resort Hotel Guests and the transportation to and from the Theme Parks. However, please note that not all Good Neighbor Hotels are enrolled in these programs. Currently, you can enjoy Early Theme Park Entry if you stay at B Resort & Spa Lake Buena Vista, DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando, Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando Lake Buena Vista, Four Seasons Resort Orlando, Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace, Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista, Holiday Inn Orlando, Shades of Green, Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, Waldorf Astoria Orlando, Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista, and Wyndham Lake Buena Vista.
Transportation to the Theme Parks is also available, and while a fee may apply depending on the hotel, it's super convenient to know that you can grab a ride from the hotel door straight to the Theme Parks. Most hotels are within 2 to 14 miles of the
Walt Disney World Resort, so the ride will be quick and easy.
In addition to these benefits, select hotels offer complimentary breakfasts and evening receptions. All hotels allow you to purchase theme park tickets on-site, at the lobby, front desk, or Guest Services desk. Also, select hotels allow pets (a fee may apply).
Overall, it's a fantastic option if you're looking to save some money for delicious snacks around
EPCOT or take advantage of loyalty programs with some of the hotels. Although they are not
Disney Resorts Collection hotels, you can still enjoy some perks while being close to the magic.
I hope you found this information helpful, Leslie! Please don't hesitate
to ask us any questions you may have. We're always here to help a friend like you!
Cheers
Nilson
