    What are the perks of booking your flight through Disney instead of just with the airport?

    Hi Sara,

    Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel. For domestic Disney packages, you will find no price difference between Disney and a Travel Agent. Airfare you should always do yourself. It is really a personal preference; I have been a travel agent in the past for many years, so I recommend it. Unless you can pay the exact same price, then a travel agent would be better. They will just send your documents to your travel agent instead of mailing directly to you. In addition, once the travel agent makes the booking, any changes to it need to be made by the agent, not you. Not all travel agents will make your dining arrangements for you, but personally, I like making my own. They never have the exact times I want, and I like to see what’s available and book it myself. Most of Americans have cell phones with free long distance option, so if you do, the cost won't be a factor. If this trip is your first to WDW, I recommend a travel agent because it can be a little overwhelming, and also you can read great reviews at Touring Plans. And of course, here at Disney Parks Moms Panel, you can find many helpful answers.
