Hi Mackenzie,
As World Princess Week draws to a close, I am basking in the glow of a week's worth of inspirational
social media content. Disney princesses continue to inspire me, even as an adult. Sometimes I have to dig a little deeper like Tiana or do the next right thing like Anna. I've learned that being a Disney princess has nothing to do with a crown and everything to do with believing in yourself and your power to do great things. This reminder is never more clear than during my family's Walt Disney World Resort vacations.
Seeing the princesses through my daughter's eyes introduced me to a whole new level of Disney magic. Almost five years ago, Nana treated us to the Perfectly Princess Tea Party at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. We sang songs with our hostess, Miss Rose Petal, and ate princess cake alongside Aurora. It was an enchanting experience that fills our Disney scrapbook with happy memories in various shades of pink.
There is no word yet on a return date for the Perfectly Princess Tea Party at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. The good news is that
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Magic Kingdom Park opened its doors for royal makeovers this week; reservations can be made online up to 60 days in advance. With the patience of Rapunzel, I encourage you to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for announcements about any additional royal reopenings.
Let me assure you there are plenty of other opportunities to interact with their royal highnesses at Walt Disney World Resort. The planDisney panelists recently put our heads together and came up with dozens of tips for meeting Disney princesses around the Disney parks and resorts. I encourage you and the royalty in your life to
check it out!
I hope you receive the royal treatment on your upcoming vacation, Mackenzie. Please return to planDisney with any other trip-planning questions.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
